How Does Food Impact Health?
Our diet offers the "knowledge" and the materials our bodies need to function properly. If we don't get the right stuff, we suffer from our metabolic cycle and decrease our wellbeing.
We will get an over-weight, undernourished and dangerous production of illnesses and disorders, such as asthma, diabetes and heart disease when we consume too much sugar or sugar that supplies our bodies with the wrong path.
In short, our wellbeing depends on what we eat. Taking this as read in the light of Webster's scientific definition: 'science and art related to health protection and disease prevention, alleviation or cure.'
Food acts as medicine--to maintain, prevent, and treat disease.
