Sai Bhaji Chawal

Koki

Koki is eaten like our paratha usually. But Koki has something else, which is always served with delicious cakes and made from pure wheat. The oignons, coriander leaves and green chilies have also been removed. A popular breakfast in Sindhi is Koki.

Dodah

Doodah is another Sindhi breakfast eaten mostly in winter. The paratha is thick and made with half watery dough while the dough is made of mixed jowar, cut ounces, coriander and a few green chilies as well. Mint chutney and onions are the most popular dips for Dodah.

Kadhi Chawal


Sindh's signature dish is Kadhi Chawal. The brown curry has key ingredients such as besan mixed with tomatoes, bobs, lady's finger (the curry's lady's finger is sure to sounds interesting), drumsticks and so on. Kadhi Chawal is usually eaten with steamed rice or with a sweet boondi in the Sindh regions, along with a crunchy double fried potatoes seasoned with masalas.

Bhuga Chawal


During the discussions of the sindhi cuisine, we can miss the renowned dish "Bhuga Chawal." Deep-fried onions, shredded tomatoes, and spices make up the platter. The rice is then cooked while this mixture is being used. When eaten with variations of 'subzi' or dals, Bhuga Chawal tastes very sweet.
